• Ingredients:

    • Loaf of Sourdough
    • 500 g beef mince
    • 1 cup peas
    • 1 cup chopped carrots
    • 1 cup chopped coriander
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 2 tbl crushed garlic
    • 2 tbl curry powder
    • 2 tbl tomato paste
    • 1 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tbl oil
    • Salt
  • Directions:

    1. Over a medium heat, fry the onions and garlic in oil, till the onions are translucent
    2. Add the mince and mix through. Season with a pinch of salt. This is the start of seasoning. You have to taste and season as you go.
    3. Add the tomato paste and mix through for 2 mins
    4. Add the curry powder , chilli powder and a little water and mix through.
    5. Add the coriander, carrots, peas & lemon juice. Mix well.
    6. Add ½ cup of water and put the lid on. Let it simmer for 8 mins.
    7. Taste again and add salt and pepper to finish
    8. Get the Beef Curry down where it is still wet. But not as wet as a curry. More of a gravy.
    9. When its ready take it off the heat. Mix through the chopped coriander leaves. They will just wilt.
    10. Next, carve out a bowl in the bread. Cut a hole using a serrated knife in a circular shape. Scoop out the contents of the bread slowly so that you do not piece through the bottom.
    11. Scoop the Bunny Chow into cavity and fill it
    12. Serve!
