• Ingredients:

    • 2 cups cauliflower
    • 2 cups broccoli
    • 1 cup crispy bacon
    • 1 tsp smoked paprika
    • ½ lemon
    • ½ cup chopped parsley
    • 2 tbl Butter
    • 2 tbl Flour
    • 1 cup Milk Salt and pepper
    • 1 cup grated Cheese
    • 4 Cups cooked pasta
  • Directions:

    1. Heat 1 tsp of olive oil in a pan over a medium heat.
    2. Fry the bacon till it is crisp. Once ready, take it out and drain well.
    3. Chop the bacon into small pieces and set aside
    4. Get the same bacon juices hot and fry the cauliflower and broccoli for 1 min. Season with a little salt and a good amount of pepper.
    5. Squeeze the lemon juice over. Stir for 10 secs
    6. Reduce to a medium to low heat.
    7. Make the cheese sauce
    8. Cheese Sauce
      1. In a small pot, melt the butter
      2. Then add the flour in and whisk until all is incorporated
      3. Take off the heat and mix in the milk.
      4.  After 20 sec return the pan to the stove and stir till the sauce thickens.
      5. Make sure to taste season at this point
    9. Stir in the cheese and let it melt through. Nice and smooth.
    10. Add the cheese sauce and mix well for about 2 min
    11. Serve with lots of bacon crumbs over the top.
    12. Garnish with parsley and serve
