Kale & Parmesan salad (4 People)
Chop the kale as finely as you can.
Blanch it in boiling hot water for 1 min.
They remove and wash under cold water for 20 secs so it stops cooking.
Drain on paper towels and set aside Make the dressing by combining the crushed garlic, lemon juice and olive oil.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the kale and peas to a large bowl.
Add the dressing and parmesan and fold it in.
Once completely combined, drizzle the top with the crushed cashews.
BUTTERED HOT CROSS BUNS
Preheat the oven to 180Deg.
Heat a pot over a medium heat.
Pour the milk and cream in and warm gently. You are just warming it, not cooking it.
In the meantime, in a separate large bowl, add the eggs, sugar and vanilla essence. Whisk with a fork.
Then slowly add the warm mixture to the whisked egg mixture. Cut the buns into half pieces. Lather them generously with butter and arrange them into an oven dish.
Then brush the top with the marmalade.
Next, pour the cream and milk mix over the top of buns. Make sure the buns really absorb the mix.
Bake in the oven for 45-50 mins.
Remove and set aside to cool.
Dust the icing sugar over the top and a as a finishing touch and serve!
