• Ingredients:


    • 300 g Tofu
    • 500g pork mince
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • ½ tsp ginger (minced)
    • ½ tsp garlic (minced)


    • 1 tsp oil
    • 4 tsp Lee Kum Kee Chilli
    • Bean Paste
    • ½ tsp Chinese 5-Spice
    • 1 cup Chicken Stock (use cubes)
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • ½ cup spring onions (chopped)
    • 1 tsp Cornstarch
    • 4 cooked cups of cooked Rice
  • Directions:

    Meat Mince:

    1. In a bowl, add the alt mince and the marinade ingredients.
    2. Mix well and set aside for 30 mins


    1. Heat the oil in a medium pan
    2. Fry the bean paste and the mince for a minute.
    3. Add half a cup of spring onions and toss for 30 sec.
    4. Add the tofu to the pan gently. Do not break it up.
    5. Add sugar. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Then simmer immediately for between 10-12 mins.
    6. Mix 1 tsp of corn starch in ½ cup of water.
    7. Add a liUle of it to the sauce and mix unVl it thickens. Check that it is a silken thick sauce. Add more corn starch of necessary. Once ready, remove from the heat.
    8. Transfer the Tofu into a bowl
    9. Garnish the Tofu with spring onions
    10. Serve with rice.
