PIGGY IN THE MIDDLE

  • Ingredients:

    • 8 potatoes
    • 1 tbl italian herbs
    • 1 cup oil
    • 8 pork and apple
    • sausages
    • 4 green apples
    • Instant gravy mix
    • Salt & pepper
  • Directions:

    1. Clean and peel the potatoes.
    2.  Boil half of them and set aside. Once a little cooler, mash it up with the herbs, and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
    3. Grate the other half of raw potatoes and combine with the boiled mash. Add 1 tbl of floor and mix well. Add a little more flour if you need to.
    4.  Heat 1 tsp of oil up to a medium temp.
    5. You will need to make 8 patties for 4 people.
    6.  Make each patty in your hands. Fry in the oil till golden brown on both sides
    7.  Slice the sausages lengthways and fry in a pan till cooked
    8.  Mix the instant gravy as per the instructions and set aside
    9.  Slice the apple into circles
    10.  Start with a layer of potato hash at the bottom. Then some apple on top of that. Then 3 sausage half. And top off with another potato hash piece.
    11. Drizzle gravy on top and enjoy!
